Veggie Soup Canning Class

UGA Extension – Rockdale County is holding hands-on workshops where you will learn the principles of safe food preservation and where to find tested recipes, as well as work in groups to complete all the steps to preserve the featured food. You’ll get to taste the finished product and make a jar to take home!
Your $25 registration fee covers all class materials, light refreshments, and a jar of the finished product.
We’ll be making tomato veggie soup, as well as strawberry freezer jam while the soup is processing.
The class is open to adults and youth ages 13+.
